Second pedestrian in a week killed on U.S. 29

The driver, a 17-year-old Greer woman, was not charged, Rhyne said. It was the second pedestrian fatality this month along a stretch of what used to be known as the superhighway.
Jerome Bradley, 55, was trying to cross six-lane Wade Hampton Boulevard just outside the city of Greenville Tuesday night was struck and killed by a vehicle and died at the scene. Bradley was crossing the highway near Rushmore Drive when he walked in front of a Ford SUV at 9:14 p.m.
