The Highway Patrol was looking for a vehicle of interest after a 62-year-old woman was killed in a fatal hit and run Friday.

Doris Gail Franklin was walking on Old Buncombe Road at around 8:30 a.m. when she was struck by a white 2002 to 2006 Acura RSX. She suffered blunt force injuries and later died. This accident is still under investigation.
