Prison vehicle wrecks in Laurens Co.

Laurens County deputies are assisting the S.C. Highway Patrol in a vehicle accident involving a prison vehicle on Highway 49. A vehicle accident occurred at Highway 49 and Anchor Drive shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to online information from the S.C. Highway Patrol.  Authorities say the vehicle was from Tyger River Correctional Institution. One inmate and two officers were in the vehicle.
