Hicks was transported to Grand Strand Hospital where she died of trauma from the wreck at 9:16 p.m., according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler. Myrtle Beach police arrested 33-year-old Paulino Maceda Meza Saturday night, charging Meza with felony driving under the influence, causing death.
