Police were attempting to confront a reported suspisious vehicle in Sandalwood Terrace Apartment Complex at about 8:45pm, when the vehicle fled the area onto William Hilton Parkway. Police followed the suspect's vehicle, which turned left onto Dillon Road shortly before crashing into a tree. The impact broke the car in half, caused it's engine to catch fire, and killed Williams, who was driving the vehicle, as well as Ferguson, a passenger.
