Police say a preliminary investigation shows a car was traveling east on the interstate when the vehicle went into the median. The car continued into the westbound lanes before striking a van head-on.

KPD said according to the preliminary investigation, a Toyota Camry was traveling east on I-640 when the vehicle went into the median. The car continued into west bound lanes where it narrowly avoided hitting several cars before hitting a Honda Odyssey head-on.
