MHP says that Highway 78 is closed. According to the Coroner, traffic is being rerouted off of westbound Highway 78 onto Old Highway 78 for three miles.

A truck driver, whose name is yet to be released by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, died when his small truck crashed into a tractor trailer on Highway 78 in Marshal County, Tennessee on Tuesday night. The tractor trailer caught fire but its driver is unharmed. Highway 78 was closed due to the accident.
