Driver charged in fatal DUI crash

Ariel Munoz told police that the driver of the crash ran into the woods, but police could not find anyone there. Munoz was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide while intoxicated, failure to exercise due care, driving without insurance and driving without a license. Just before midnight Sunday, police responded to the crash on Interstate 240 near the Highway 385 ramp. The car then traveled across the interstate once more where it stopped against the north guardrail. Later, police determined that Munoz was in fact the driver of the car.
