Man dies after crashing car into rushing water off Highway 51

"They located the vehicle 15 feet upside down approximately 10 to 15 feet underneath the water, and 50 feet from the embankment," said Lt. "The vehicle flipped and inadvertently went into the water," Lt. Witnesses told emergency crews the driver was heading northbound in thick and heavy fog when they crossed the median. And with even more nasty weather on the way to the area, firefighters are warning drivers to stay alert and cautious. Officials told WREG the water played a huge part in his condition.
