One dead, another injured after crash on Austin Peay Hwy
One person is dead and another injured after a car crash at Austin Peay Highway and Coleman Road on Friday. He continued through the intersection and hit the Buick Century as it was making a turn. The passenger of the Buick was taken to Regional Medical Center in extremely critical condition. The driver of the Buick, Erby Johnson, 29, was taken to Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition. Police arrested Johnson at Regional Medical Center and charged him with DUI, driving while license is revoked/suspended/canceled, state registration, financial responsibility and public intoxication.

The Shelby County District Attorney's Office said Monday that 28-year-old William Lapradd has been charged with reckless vehicular homicide. He is out of jail on $60,000 bail.
