Police said a vehicle pulled out from the curb and caused a Mercury Marquis to serve into the westbound lane and hit an oncoming Chevy Cobalt. The driver of the Mercury was pronounced dead on the scene and the two adult occupants of the Chevy Cobalt were taken to Regional Medical Center.

According to an affidavit, multiple witnesses saw Wilson driving a green Acura near Mitchell and Daggett Road around 1:15 a.m. when she pulled out into eastbound traffic on Mitchell into the path of Jerlene Kearney.
