1 Charged, Man Dies After Golf Cart Crash

Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said 60-year old Timothy Doyle was injured in a crash. He was transported by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries Tuesday.

Police in Gallatin confirmed Timothy's wife, 55-year-old Lori Doyle, has been arrested and charged with vehicular assault and DUI.

Tennessee woman charged in husband’s golf cart death

Lori Doyle reportedly stated they were driving to the Club House at Foxland to get food when she made a turn too fast, causing both men to be thrown from the golf cart.
