UPDATE: Early Sunday Morning Motorcycle Crash

Sergeant Kyle Evans told NewsRadio WGNS that as the motorcycle entered a curve, it failed to maintain it's lane and struck the outside curb. This man is not dead!

That's wonderful news! Thank you so much for pointing out the mistake, Lyric. Please accept our sincere apologies. Sometimes the early reports we depend on from local news sources have incorrect information, and we're not always able to check back with each and every story to make sure nothing has changed. For these scenarios, we depend on our readers to notify us. This type of misinformation is rare, but it does happen, and we're very happy to make this sort of correction! Our best wishes to Mr. Dixon on his recovery. Jane, Accident Data Center staff
