Nashville crash leaves 1 with life-threatening injuries

A man is fighting for his life after a crash late Sunday afternoon near Cane Ridge High School.

A man is fighting for his life after a crash late Sunday afternoon near Cane Ridge High School.

According to police, the driver lost control of his Honda and began to slide sideways in the 12800 block of Old Hickory Boulevard just before 5 p.m.

His car was then hit by a Dodge coming from the other direction.

Both drivers were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where the driver of the Honda, who has not been identified, is said to have life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge has minor injuries, police said.

Authorities are still investigating the crash
