A Portland East Middle School student died in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Tuesday night. Briana Lowe, 14, was walking with a companion on Dobbins Pike when she was struck by a vehicle at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police arrested a female Wednesday afternoon in connection with the collision. No charges have been filed yet.The other girl was not injured.
