Police in DeKalb County are investigating a possible boating accident after two bodies were found at Center Hill Lake on Wednesday.

The DeKalb County Sheriff says a fisherman called around 5:15 p.m. after finding a body.

Police say two people, a man and a woman, went fishing earlier in the day around the Holmes Creek Boat Ramp off Holmes Creek Road.

The identities of the people who were found have not been released at this time.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, the DeKalb County Rescue Squad and the DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency helped with the investigation.
