1 dead after U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet crash in Tennessee
A La Vergne official confirmed the crash happened about 3 p.m. near Weakly Lane, not far from the bowling alley, while practicing for the demonstration.
At least one person was killed. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
Blue Angel jet crashes after take-off in Tennessee
An initial Navy incident report says the Blue Angels jet crashed just after takeoff in a residential area and the pilot is not believed to have ejected. The report identifies it as Blue Angels plane No. 6. There are no reports of any civilians injured or homes damaged.

Pilot Killed In Blue Angels Plane Crash
According to family members, Captain Kuss died in the crash. He is married with two young children and is a native of Durango, Colorado. Jeff joined the Blue Angels in September 2014.
