A long holiday weekend has ended in tragedy after a Cheatham County man was killed when his four-wheeler plunged down a ravine. Wade Glick, 37, went for a ride Monday evening and somehow lost control of his ATV off Leatherwood Road. "We talked a little bit, and then he got on a four-wheeler and rode down, rode away," said his father, Dave Glick. Two hours after his son left, Dave Glick said police knocked at his door and gave him the awful news. "The police came up and asked if I was his father, and they described the vehicle. He didn't have any identification on him, so they weren't sure who it was," Dave Glick said. Investigators believe Wade Glick came lost control in a curve before going into the ravine. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says he was found face down in a creek. His father says Wade Glick was not wearing a helmet but was not a wild rider either, and he put his four-wheeler to good use.
