Car overturned in Friday morning I-26 accident
Police said speed was a factor in a Friday morning crash on Interstate 26 in south Johnson City that left a sedan on its top in a roadside ditch.

Maegan Smith was driving at high speed into Johnson City on Interstate 26 when she lost control of her car while attempting to negotiate a curve and overcorrected. Her car crossed both lanes of the highway then climbed the bank on the other side, causing the vehicle to flip. Smith was taken by ambulance to Johnson City Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
