Authorities have released the name of a 7-year-old girl killed in a single-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Kingsport.
Authorities have released the name of a 7-year-old girl killed in a single-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Kingsport.
The deceased was identified as Ava Marie Wagers, 7, Barnett Drive, Kingsport.
The crash took place at approximately 1:05 p.m. on the 100 block of New Beason Well Road in Kingsport.
The crash is being investigated by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Fatal Incident Reconstruction and Support Team (FIRST).
Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Lt. Andy Seabolt said investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
More information is expected to be released in the coming days, he said.
