3 Killed In West Texas Plane Crash, Authorities Say

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the twin-engine Beechcraft BE20 Super King Air disappeared from air traffic radar just before 6 a.m. Feb. 20. Officials said the pilot was trying to return to an airport because of an electrical problem.

Three Killed in Coleman County Plane Crash Identified

The pilot reported electrical issues and was attempting to return to Abilene when it crashed in Coleman County. 

NTSB Releases Preliminary Report in Lake Coleman Crash

Bellah reported his altitude at 4,700 ft and air traffic control instructed him to stay at 5,000ft. The report states Bellah stated he was “pulling up” and ceased to have communication after that moment.
