Motorcycle driver suffers life-threatening injuries following crash in Southeast Amarillo
According to Amarillo police, officers were sent to the crash at 26th Avenue and South Buchanan Street just before 1 a.m. on Friday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they determined 38-year-old Ruben Moreno was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on 26th Avenue when the crash happened.
Police said Moreno "failed to negotiate a curve and drove into the eastbound lanes before striking a traffic median." Moreno was thrown from the motorcycle.
