Edna Santoyo-Vasquez, 23, killed and two people injured in car accident on Johnny Morris Road in Austin, Texas

One woman died and two people were injured after a two-vehicle accident on Johnny Morris road near Highway 290 in Austin. The collision occurred just before midnight on Friday. A Chrysler was heading southbound, crossed the center line, and crashed with a truck heading northbound. The passenger in the Chrysler, 23-year-old Edna Santoyo-Vasquez, died in the collision. The drivers of the vehicles were both transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and both have been released.
