Police ID man killed, arrest one in North Austin crash

Police arrested a man for failure to stop and render aid after a crash killed one person Sunday morning.
  Austin Police responded to reports of a two-car collision on West Parmer Lane and Lamplight Village Avenue at 6:13 a.m. Sunday. They discovered two wrecked cars, and Jong Kim, 37, was dead at the scene. Witnesses told police they saw two men running from the crash scene eastbound on West Parmer Lane. The two men were detained in the 12400 block of Metric Boulevard, and both were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with minor injuries. Billy Morris, 27, was charged with fleeing the scene and failing to stop and render aid.
