Wrong way driver causes deadly crash on I-35

One person is dead and two are hospitalized after a crash between two vehicles on southbound I-35. Officials say the two people in the wrong way car were taken to Brackenridge. Police continue to investigate but preliminarily believe that one of the cars was driving the wrong way and caused a head on collision. Chief Acevedo said in an interview with KLBJ radio that police believe the driver of the wrong way car was heading home after celebrating her birthday at a downtown bar. Acevedo says investigators will now back track their movements and try to determine where the women were before the wreck.

Man killed in wrong-way crash on IH-35 worked for SXSW

SXSW organizers say Keller worked for SXSW as a staff member and crew chief to help manage crowd safety on the streets of Austin during SXSW. In the post, SXSW said Keller was driving from Dallas to his home in San Antonio when the crash happened.
