2 adults dead, 4 children to be hospitalized after SW Travis County crash on U.S. 290, officials say

A woman in her 40s and a man in his 50s died at the scene, EMS officials said. One of the children has potentially critical injuries, and three of them have potentially serious injuries.

 
 

NEW INFO: Identities of 2 killed in Oak Hill wreck released

Two adults who were killed in a wreck on U.S. 290 in Oak Hill on Thursday night have been identified as 58-year-old Robbi Sluder and 49-year-old Brian Suddath, officials with the Travis County medical examiner’s officer said Friday.

Crash victims identified as local business leaders

We’re learning more about the two people who died in a near-head-on collision last night just outside Austin. It happened on Highway 290 west of Austin, a stretch of road that has seen it’s share of fatal wrecks in recent months.
