It happened Tuesday around 6:45 a.m. on the service road of southbound Interstate 35 between FM 1431 and Old Settlers Boulevard in Round Rock.
Joseph Holan, 44, of Georgetown was riding his bike when the driver of a Buick Milan hit him. The driver told police that it was dark and he didn't see Hol
an as he switched lanes.
RRPD says Holan was wearing a helmet at the time. Alcohol and speed are not likely factors in the crash. The speed limit in that area is 55 mph
