Motorcyclist killed in crash with car on RR 12 in San Marcos
A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car in San Marcos, Thursday evening.
San Marcos police say the car was turning left out of Highcrest Apartments at 1518 Old Ranch Road 12 at 6:25 p.m. Officers say the driver reported not seeing the motorcycle before the crash.

A motorcyclist who died after he slammed into a car as it pulled out of an apartment complex in San Marcos on Thursday has been identified as 20-year-old Quirino Ramirez.
Police in San Marcos said Ramirez was headed west on Old Ranch Road 12 when a 2006 Toyota Corolla pulled onto the road to leave the Highcrest apartment complex.
Ramirez slammed into the side of the car and was thrown from the bike.
Police said the driver did not see him before the crash.
Both Ramirez and the driver of the Corolla are registered students at Texas State University, police said.
