A driver is dead after crashing into into the batting cages at a Corpus Christi, Texas high school.

Officers have blocked off Tiger Lane between Carroll and Weber to conduct their investigation and interview witnesses.

Truck Crashes Into Batting Cage On Tiger Lane

Officers learned that the black truck collided with a parked, unoccupied vehicle on the 3600 block of Tiger Lane.

Police investigators are looking at various factors into the accident including a medical condition or alcohol and drugs. 

Victim in Accident at Carroll High School Batting Cages Identified

The official cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma.

Jose Reyes was killed when he drove his truck into the batting cages at a Corpus Christi high school. Fortunately no one was near the batting cages when the crash occured, and no one else was hurt during the incident. Police are investigating.
