Teen driver thrown off overpass after vehicle crash on SPID
The call came in around 7 p.m. Tuesday night for a major crash on SPID near Paul Jones going toward Flour Bluff. Traffic had to be diverted onto Ennis Joslin while first responders worked to clear the scene.
Witnesses told police the driver looked like she was racing with another car on SPID, lost control of her truck and rolled several times.
While the truck was rolling, she was ejected from the truck and thrown off the overpass onto the access road, that's about a 20 foot drop.
