The victim was identified as John Kennedy, 57, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. No hometown was listed on the medical examiner’s website, but public records indicated Kennedy had lived in Arlington.

A truck was traveling northbound along North Watson Road when it struck a bridge pillar around 8:30 in the evening just south of East Randol Mill Road, killing its driver. According to the police there was no one else in the truck.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
