CLEBURNE — A 17-year-old student has died and four others injured in a single-vehicle crash just after noon Friday in Cleburne. The driver somehow lost control of the car, which ran off County Road 1121 into trees between Cleburne and Glen Rose. The injured teens, including three ages 17 and a 14 year old, were flown to Harris Methodist Fort Worth in unknown conditions. Troopers say five young men were inside the car as they headed home from the Brazos Charter School. Troopers say the deceased student was ejected through the rear window and pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. at the Walls Regional Hospital.

Teen Killed In Crash Near Cleburne HighSchool

JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A young man died in a car crash about a mile from Cleburne High School according to the highway patrol. An officer tells CBS11 the car the 17-year-old was in skidded off the road and hit a tree in the 3000 block of Woodard Avenue. There were other people in the car. No details on how many were in the car or their conditions at this point.

Teen Killed, Others Injured in Single Car Crash in Johnson County

Dustin Roye was riding in the backseat of a 1995 Chevrolet Geo Prism with four other teens when the car slid off County Road 1121 and crashed into a tree at about 1 p.m. The collision ejected Roye from the vehicle -- he was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
