The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified George Taylor, Sr., 83, as the driver of the 1997 Ford Explorer that was involved in a double fatality accident Saturday morning.
Two drivers killed in Kaufman County crash
Clark died along with the driver of the Explorer. Troopers said that person is from Quinlan, but the identity was being withheld while relatives are notified.
Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash in Kaufman County Saturday afternoon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Ford Focus driven by 21-year-old Ashtyn Clark of Crowley was headed north on State Highway 34 near the Hunt County line around 4:30 p.m. when her vehicle crossed the center line of the two-lane road and struck a Ford Explorer.
Both vehicles erupted in flames.
Clark died along with the driver of the Explorer. Troopers said that person is from Quinlan, but the identity was being withheld while relatives are notified.
