Early Morning Crash On LBJ Kills Man & Teenage Boy

An officer on the scene told CBS 11 News that a Toyota Camry, with a driver and passenger inside, appeared to have broken down and attempted to pull off on the shoulder near the Coit Road exit. The two people, who were outside of the car at the time, were hit by an oncoming SUV.

2 Men Struck, Killed While Repairing Disabled Car on LBJ: Police

At about 1:30 a.m., a 35-year-old man, identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office as Hector Luna-Rodriguez, was working underneath a disabled sedan in the Coit Road exit lane when the vehicle was struck from behind by an oncoming SUV, police said.
