Police officer Evan Wincovitch has been arrested for suspicion of DUI after a single-vehicle accident on Randol Mill Road in Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth police have arrested one of their own officers for DUI after a car accident. Police were called to a single vehicle accident on Randol Mill Road at approximately 2:35 AM Tuesday. During the investigation, police realized the driver was officer Evan Wincovitch. He was arrested for suspicion of DWI and immediately placed on restricted duty status, his gun and badge confiscated. Officer Wincovitch has been arrested for public intoxication prior to this accident, serving a three day suspension in October 2010.
