Driver killed when gas truck explodes following crash

The driver was killed when the Racetrac gasoline tanker crashed and caught fire along the 820 East loop. The blast sent burning fuel running down both sides of the freeway and into the median. The fuel truck was the only truck involved in the deadly crash.
