Alicia Rodriguez, 27, killed and man seriously injured in single-vehicle crash on Loop 12 in Irving, TX

Police have determined that intoxicants and excessive speed were the cause of a single vehicle crash that killed a woman and seriously injured a man. An unidentified man in his 20's who was determined to be intoxicated was speeding on Loop 12 and attempting to change lanes when he lost control of the vehicle, and it rolled over several times. Neither of the two passengers in the vehicle, identified as Alicia Rodriguez, 27, and a man in his 20's or 30's, were wearing seat belts, and Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
