The Dallas County medical examiner is withholding the biker’s identity until the family is notified.
Authorities say group of three motorcycles was traveling at a high rate of speed on George Bush Turnpike near Interstate-635 Sunday when one of the motorcyclists lost control on the elevated bridge that begins at I-635. The rider struck the retaining wall and flipped over the railing, falling more than 60 feet to the ground below. The 37-year-old man was transported to Medical Center at Las Colinas, where he was pronounced dead. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
