Ralph Hall, the eldest-ever representative in the US house has been airlifted to a local Texas hospital after suffering injuries from a car accident, though the congressmen is expected to recover. According to his spokesperson, Ed Valentine, the 91 year-old Texas Republican suffered a hip injury and minor cuts and bruises when a car turned in front of his vehicle on Saturday. Neither of the drivers were injured. The congressman was concious while he was brought by helicopter to the Medical Center of Plano. Valentine reports that doctors expect a full recovery. Hall had returned to Texas on Friday from Washington, D.C., a regular weekend routine the congressman has maintained during his 32-year tenure.
