At 6:08 p.m. Saturday, a Ford F-250 was towing a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on State Highway 4 near the beach, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The tow strap snapped, sending the Ford skidding off the highway.
