Brownsville is the sixteenth most populous city in Texas with a population of 181,860. It is located on the southernmost tip of the state on the northern bank of the Rio Grande, directly north and across the border from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The 2013 U.S. Census Bureau estimate places the Brownsville-Harlingen metropolitan area population at 417,276.
McAllen is the largest city in Hidalgo County, Texas. It is located at the southern tip of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. It is on the Rio Grande, and is about 70 miles west of the Gulf of Mexico. In 2012 the city's population was 140,717.
U.S. Route 77 is a major north-south highway that suns from Sioux City, Iowa to the Mexican border and connects Harligen to Corpus Christi and other northern cities. U.S. Route 83 is a 1,885 mile road that stretches from the Canadian border to the Mexican border. It's southernmost point is in Brownsville.

This is really hard to watch.
First things first: apparently everyone survived, and the baby and toddler are currently stabilized and recovering in the hospital, but that will not be super helpful to your stress level while/immediately after viewing. If you are currently the mother of young children, have a drink ready or your chosen method of self-care for when the video is done, because you will need it.
It can be helpful to understand why older drivers often suffer this diminished capacity, and why it can be so difficult to determine exactly when any given person is no longer able to safely drive.
According to some estimates, aggressive drivers are responsible for up to four times as many car crash fatalities as people who drive drunk.
In Texas alone, congestion grows by 8% every year in some of its largest cities such as Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston, where drivers spend an average of over 40 hours per year stuck in traffic.
Hopefully, you are never placed in this situation where you are without a vehicle, injured and now have to continue to pay on a vehicle you can’t use anymore and most likely still need another vehicle. A great way to avoid is to purchase what is called Gap Insurance.
So, if the insurance company offers you $5,000.00 two days after the accident, you sign the release, and accept their offer, where does that leave you? Oftentimes, some injuries are not apparent so soon after an accident.
We generally advise our clients to stay off of social media completely following their accident. This keeps the opposing side from being able to take a peek into your personal life and trying to use your publicly posted information against you.
It is bad enough that the federal government estimates that 16% of all crash-related deaths in the U.S. are caused by some form of distraction. Furthermore, research from the AAA Foundation suggests that distraction is an even bigger issue than the numbers might indicate.
With new technology, including air bags and automation, newer vehicles will continue to get safer.
In short, a release is a legal document that you sign when you agree to settle a claim against someone else.
The potential for devastation and injury is always high, but in the case that you only suffer vehicle damage, it’s important to understand your legal rights and know how to handle a car wreck.
