Deputies said at least one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles. CPR was necessary for at least one person, deputies said. One driver was taken to the hospital.

Knish was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead at just before 8 a.m. The case remains open and under investigation by the Traffic Enforcement Division of the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
