2 of 4 die when Mustang hits concrete in NW Harris ditch

Authorities have identified two people who were killed in a traffic crash Monday night in northwest Harris County. German Hernandez and Nancy Guevara died in the wreck, which occurred about 10 p.m. in the 11600 block of Veteran's Memorial near S. Camden Parkway, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Two people are dead after a late night crash in northwest Harris County.

The crash happened on Veterans Memorial near Camden Parkway around 10 p.m. Monday.

Little York firefighters and paramedics showed up minutes later and had to cut part of the car open to get to the trapped victims.

Investigators said two people died at the scene, but the driver and another passenger were rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital with critical injuries.

As for the cause, it's unclear right now exactly what happened, but Soto said the roads were wet and the car she saw go off the road was not speeding at the time of the crash.
