Driver killed and pregnant woman injured in head-on car accident with alleged drunk driver on E. Parker in Houston

Police said a man in a silver Impala was traveling westbound on E. Parker around 11 p.m. when he attempted to go around a pickup truck and slammed head-on into a car traveling in the opposite direction. The driver who was hit head-on died on impact.  His wife, who is eight weeks pregnant, was injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
