Officials also did not know if the driver stopped or kept going. Police are still investigating.
It was approximately 8:00 a.m. when an 11-year-old boy who is a student at Parker Intermediate School was waiting for the bus on Grovedale Drive and was hit by a car. The boy was tranpsorted the hospital, though the extent of his injuries remain unknown. It is also not known whether the car stopped or fled the scene after hitting the boy. We will add new information as it becomes available.
