An early morning crash in west Houston left three people dead and two other injured, police said.
Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1700 State Highway 6
The identities of the three male victims are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
It was around 5:05 a.m. when the driver of a white Geo Tracker was traveling southbound in the 1700 block of State Highway 6 when he failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and entered a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll over. The driver and front seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers were transported to area hospitals where one of them was pronounced dead.
