Robbery suspect dies in crash in north Houston
The case is being referred to the District Attorney's Office. Due to the crash, METRORail will not be running on the Northline for most of Sunday while they make repairs.
Houston police say two men allegedly robbed a person near Fulton and Billingsley streets around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The suspects then sped off, and the driver lost control along the METRORail line and crashed into one of the electrical poles. The passenger died at the scene, while the driver fled. He was located at his home and arrested. We'll update this story with any new details we receive.
