A motorcyclist was riding in a group on Sunday morning on U.S. 59 at the Highway 288 entrance when he hit the side of a car a fell from his bike, landing in the middle of the freeway. A female driver was unable to avoid the motorcyclist in the road and struck him. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Check back for updates.
