One person was killed and at least four others were hurt in an accident in Liberty County Tuesday.

The collision was so severe Gerald Potts, 21, was killed. Potts was a passenger in the black Jeep. A 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy in the same vehicle, had to be flown to Memorial Hermann by LifeFlight.
Authorities report that a pregnant woman was traveling northbound in a Jeep on Highway 146 when a man in a black Jeep turned left in front of her. A 21-year-old passenger in the black Jeep died. Two boys riding in the back were critically injured. The pregnant driver was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The driver of the black Jeep was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital. The accident happened around 11 a.m. at 33434 State Highway 146. It has yet to be determined if charges will be filed.
