Man arrested after deadly drunk driving crash

He now faces intoxication manslaughter charges, deputies said. Deputies said the passenger died at the scene. According to the Harris County Sheriff'€™s Office, it happened around midnight early Thursday at Cypresswood and Bradbury Forest. At that time, two males in a black BMW were heading east on Cypresswood at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the car and slammed into a tree on the passenger's side.

I saw this happen b4 any emergency cars showed up i tried to help but i had no idea what i thought was piled up clothes was a dead body.i asked the driver over and over are there passengers and he replied no over and over while trying to get out the car ..unbelievable

Prayers for the family and Spring Community. There is now an officer patrolling the areas. Cypresswood is a busy street, there should always be an officer there to see if drivers adhere to speed limits.
